In a dramatic turn of events, a father's unwavering determination led to the miraculous rescue of his missing son in Mulund on Thursday. The young man, Dharav Naker, believed to have died by suicide after a viral video incident, was found alive after three harrowing days.

The ordeal began when a video of 20-year-old Dharav allegedly assaulting someone at a gym went viral, leading to a police complaint and his subsequent arrest. Though he was released on bail a few days later, Dharav went missing on August 5. His family, deeply worried, approached the Navghar police in Mulund and filed a missing person report.

Hope waned when Dharav's bike was discovered near the Airoli creek bridge, suggesting a grim fate. Yet, his father, Mahindra Naker, refused to give up. For three relentless days, Mahindra, sometimes accompanied only by a constable in a police boat, searched the Airoli creek for his son. Despite the diminishing hopes of others, Mahindra's resolve never faltered.

On Thursday around 3:30 PM, while calling out for Dharav, Mahindra heard faint cries for help. Rushing to the source of the sound, they discovered Dharav, weakened and covered in mosquito bites, trapped in the mangroves. Mahindra and the constables managed to free him and bring him to the bridge.

A video call was quickly made to the family, where Dharav's mother and other relatives joyfully spoke to him. Dharav was then taken to the hospital, where he is currently recovering.
